This is a common orchid in Dorset and is in flower through most of June and
July.
As well as on the north Dorset chalk, this can be found east of Bridport, on Portland, Maiden Castle and along the
Purbecks and on the heaths around Corfe Castle.
This one new variety for Dorset was a single Pyramidal var. emarginata, which I found up at Fontmell Down.
