The Common Fragrant Orchid
Common Fragrant can be seen at lots of sites in Dorset throughout
June and early July, particularly in the company of other orchids, in places
like Badbury Rings.
I took the photo of this group Compton Down.
Common Fragrant is always recognisable by its long spur.
The white (var.Alba) example here was also in the same area, these are unusual but not rare.
