This is a plant with no chlorophyll, that is, no green colour. It is found in the darkest parts of old beech woods
amongst the leaf litter. Although they occur in several places around Dorset, the best I've seen are near
Kingston in the Purbecks and at Powerstock Common. It is in flower through May and June.
