This diminutive plant (this photo is approximately twice its real size) occurs in the acid bogs amongst the Sphagnum moss, and is in flower through July and early August.
In Hampshire it only occurs in a couple of places in the New Forest.This is an old "film" photo scanned for use here. To look for or photograph this plant involves a search in very fragile habitat that is not recommended.
